I have been practicing Yoga for 17 years and every year I become more and more passionate about the practice and its message. Through teaching a Vinyasa Flow style of Yoga, I strive to encourage poses and movement into a meditative rhythm alongside a commitment to the breath. I endeavor to guide my students gently and playfully into a better frame of mind and body that they can take with them into their everyday lives.
I have completed my teacher training with David Magone, the founder of Pranavayu Vinyasa Yoga, my Hatha Yoga teacher training with Kreg Weiss, and I am also certified in Integrative Anatomy. I incorporate both styles in my classes and customise each class so everyone, regardless of their level of experience, can leave feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
Having worked as a senior Ayurveda physician in India, I create customised Yoga sessions depending on each person's body-type to restore the relationship between the mind and body. I am a RYT 500 hours certified teacher from the Yoga Alliance, International Yoga Academy, and The Asana Andiappan College of Yoga and Research Centre.
I am a 200-hour registered Yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance and have been practicing Yoga for over a decade. I enjoy the openness and serenity that Yoga offers and my aim is to help others balance their daily lives and enjoy its many benefits.
